SeruGlow MD is an in-office microchanneling treatment that infuses customized serums directly into the skin, to rejuvenate it and address common concerns. It is a device that uses 24 karat gold–plated surgical steel microneedles to inject small amounts of serum into the top layer of the skin at 0.25mm. Each of the 20 needles is finer than a single hair strand, which allows for a comfortable treatment.
What does SeruGlowMD Micronchanneling treat?
The SeruGlow product is a single-use product indicated for facial aesthetic use to facilitate exfoliation, hydrate, and improve the appearance of the skin.
How does SeruGlowMD Microchanneling work?
The device uses needles to mechanically puncture the stratum corneum of the skin for a potential desired facial aesthetic improvement. During the procedure, the device is used in a stamp-like motion across the skin. The tiny perforations created in the skin enhance penetration of serums, which are delivered from the glass vial upon stamping in order to increase their effectiveness.
When will I see results from a SeruGlowMD Microchanneling treatment? How long do results last?
Since microchanneling increases the production of collagen and elastin, it can take some time before these full effects are visible to the patient. However, patients may begin to notice some form of improvement in their skin rather quickly due to the effects of the rejuvenating serums. Full results are usually noticed 3 – 6 months after treatment, and touch-up treatments are used to maximize results. Typically, patients receive 1 – 4 treatments per year for the best possible results.
Is this safe for my skin type?
SeruGlowMD treatments are designed for all skin types, skin tones, ages and genders.
What are possible side effects?
Mild redness, slight flaking, and/or tightness.
