What’s is Optimas?

What is Vasculaze?
Vasculaze is recommended for individuals who are looking for a non-invasive skin treatment to address vascular lesions. Vasculaze is safe for all skin types. It is a quick, in office procedure, and can be combined with other therapies to address a combination of skin issues such as pigmentation, rosacea, and textural concerns.
Alleviate Veins
Vasculaze heals veins and alleviates the pressure they endure, which causes them to look more prominent. Vasculaze pinpoints the vein network and precisely treats the blemish. Varicose veins are typically larger and are not suitable for Vasculaze, but we do offer Sclerotherapy as needed in combo!
Where Can Be Treated?
Treatments are available for facial veins, spider veins, port wine stains, leg veins, telangiectasias and angiomas throughout various parts of the body.
The most common areas of treatment include the face (noses, cheeks and chin), chest, arms and legs (upper and lower)
How Many Sessions Are Recommended?
Typically a series of three sessions are performed every 4-8 weeks. However, some lesions may require more or less sessions depending on the severity and goals of the patient.
Gradual improvements in the treatment area can be seen following the initial treatment, but will see continued improvement of the the skin’s surface as treatments progress.
Larger, deeper veins typically require more treatments and longer time intervals between sessions. The growth of new blood vessels can be avoided if treatment intervals do not exceed 8-10 weeks.
Touch up treatments may occasionally be needed.
What is the Downtime?
Vasculaze is a quick procedure, taking only a few seconds per vein treated with each session depending on how extensive the vein or vein network is. There will be commonly redness and swelling, but may also experience bruising (less likely, but possible) that can last days to weeks.
Pre-Treatment Recommendations
- Avoid any tanning, sun exposure, or self tanners in the area to be treated 3-4 weeks before treatment.
- Avoid any topical irritant treatments or products 2-3 days before the procedure.
- Avoid anticoagulants (aspirin, nonsteroidals, herbal or pharmaceutical blood thinners) 7-10 days before treatment, if medically permitted.
- Skin should be clean and free of hair.
Post-Treatment Recommendations
- Sun block should be used for 3-4 weeks following the treatment and 3-4 weeks preceding the next session.
- Avoid stimulating blood flow by aerobic exercise, hot bath or rubbing the treated area up to a week.
- Moisturizer may be applied after each treatment, but without irritating ingredients.
- Compression garment may be worn for 1-2 weeks but is not required.

How Many Sessions Are Recommended?
Diolaze XL treats the hair follicles faster than other laser therapy treatments and can be completed in four to six 20 to 30-minute sessions. Smaller treatment areas like the upper lip can be treated in minutes, and multiple areas of the body can be treated in a single session. Each session will be approximately four to six weeks after the previous session to allow for a thorough treatment. During this time, the treated hair follicles will become inactive and the hairs will fall out
